Charter Land Title Agency, Inc. is a full service title insurance agency offering a full range of searches and services, in addition to issuing policies of title insurance for residential and commercial transactions. We are a policy-issuing agent of First American Title Insurance Company of New York, United General Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company and Washington Title Insurance Company.
Geographically, we service all counties in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Pennsylvania in addition to coordinating national coverage in all 50 states.
Our employees and representatives are courteous, knowledgeable and professional with many years of experience in our title, clearance, recording and settlement departments.
Charter Land's goal is to produce title commitments which are accurate, clear, concise, and which allow our clients to review them and close with seeming effortlessness. To achieve this, our philosophy is to take a "proactive approach" toward clearing title objections. We work hard toward solving title problems before preparing the commitment, and certainly before being requested to do so by our clients. This way, to the extent possible, most title objections are disposed of without ever having to inconvenience our clients. And our clients have more time to do what they do best, close deals.
We recognize that time is a major factor for all of our clients. In order to be competitive, and outperform others in the industry, our clients demand and receive the quickest service possible, while maintaining the integrity and quality of our work. Title Commitments are provided within three (3) business days for refinance transactions, and within five (5) business days for purchases. Messenger and overnight mail services, as well as electronic media, are utilized routinely throughout the production process in order to achieve our goals.
